Title: Cowl band bolt?
Post by: PBRmeASAP on November 18, 2013, 11:02:21 PM
I'm missing one for my 32 on the pass side.  Anyone every compare them with Fords?  Tried finding pics of fords but no luck.

Is yours the same as this where the bolt is spot welded to the band?

I don't remember if mine were spot welded or not. Apparently there were both stainless steel and chrome plated bands being used. Take a look at the discussion on VCCA chat. I would guess that Junk Yard Dog could answer any questions you have. He is the 32 expert over there and has helped me out in the past

I'll bet that bolt decided it didn't like the long winters in MKE. And jumped ship!

Yah, but it would have been kept in a nice cozy garage...haha
