Hope y'all have a good and safe 4th weekend. Geeze it doesn't seem to be 50yrs later from the bicentenial, Time flys. I'm not seeing all the special editions like 50yrs ago on vehicles and tractors. I think Chevrolet started the promotion in '74 with the "Spirit of America" series. The Impala was the best looking in my opinion. Had a gal and her daughters moved to town with one. It was the tripple white 2dr ht. Really good looking car. The Elcamino looked terrible, the Nova and Vega didn't look bad though. To my recolection, they never had a Camaro edition.

Happy 250th & Fourth of July to everyone!
I spent the day adding water to the pond and making sure all the tanks are full and hoses sorted out. Several small fires in the area already.Some beaches closed early at Tahoe due the huge crowds of teenagers drinking and littering. Funny place Nevada, fireworks are legally sold on the Indian Reservations but illegal in the rest of the state to use or possess. So you can buy all you want but become a criminal as soon as you leave the Res.
Many of the celebrations have been great to watch. Tall ships, flyovers..........God Bless America and God the President for making this happen.

I bought tickets to Monster jam world Finals last year. What a great way to spend the 4th. Monster trucks, beer and fireworks. The finale they had 5 trucks do backflips and another do a double backflip. Crazy what they can do with a 10,000lb truck.
