Video by Mr. Goodpliers, he's got a place called the Rust Ranch just north of Wichita. He vids collections, farms and auctions.
This is local to me, just east of Dodge City. Henry died a couple years back. My dad and uncle use to get parts from Henry back in the 1950s. He could be cantankorous old fart to those who he didn't like. If you tried jewing him down on price, he would chase you off. People started dragging them to Henry's farm in the beginning, they are on a sandhill, so very little rust if any since drug in. He always treated me well, and i use to just stop by and BS with him everytime i got the chance. He would always tell stories on dad😁
Anyway, this is 3 parts long so far.

This post reminded me that I was looking for 33-35 Master door section!
"All" of our local wrecking yards were cleaned out by the metal scrappers in the last few years so all we have now are compact front wheel drive cars with plastic and metric parts >:(

Same here the good old ones are gone. When I was a kid buying old Ford parts there was an old guy in Antioch CA that had almost all of his parts disassembled and stashed in a couple of big buildings. He had the uncanny ability to know how much money I had when I asked the price. If I tried to low ball him by hiding or not taking all my money he wouldn't have what I wanted. Sorta' creepy!

Henry had some rare stuff. I remember as a youngin out with dad, there was a '54 Crestline with the Demo hood, plexiglass window to show off the new 239 overhead v8. I think it also had the tinted plexiglass panels in the roof. Had a guy one time wanted a rare one in the middle, no way to get out. Henry said he would take x for it but he couldn't move anything. Guy showed up with a rented helicoppter to pluck it out🤯
Had a guy priced a rare chrome trim. Henry gave him a price and all the picks. The guy come to get it, said it was great, then tried to jew Henry down. Henry said just set that down, i'll be right back. Hopped on his highloader and ran back and forth over it. Then said, you can just have it now😁 My uncle witnessed that.
