Looking back...
-
Ahhh yes we did :)
-
Simpler times and the best of times!!!!
-
No doubt, no doubt. But, I'm sure the young guys of today will be saying the same thig.
-
Yep, we had a good run and maybe some young guys think they and their times are better but they are wrong. :)
-
Cruising Elm St in Manchester, NH with this engine, a 4 speed and 4.88 gears. Definitely great times!
-
Going down memory lane....with your cool ride and a girl by your side, those were the good times....now she can't and won't sit by my side.....
-
I had the fastest car and the prettiest girl on memory lane! I was cool too. 8) ;D
Tom that looks pretty but mine was better. Of course I have no pictures, not even a photographic memory. :)
-
Sixball I had the chance to buy it back a couple years ago but I would've had to sell the 33. Decided to keep the 33.
-
That's pretty sweet Tom
The car I want back is my 70 Torino, 429CJ, 4speed. I'm gonna treat myself when I retire and buy another. My wife said yes...……….well, ok, she didn't say yes, but she will.....when I ask her...…..I hope ::)
-
I want them all back but I don't want to work on them, just drive them. I almost always had to sell one to get the next one.
-
I hope your wife says yes Chopper! That's a sweet ride!

Sixball, you are 100% on. I almost always had to sell one to move on to the next one, that's how I financed the next deal. And I, too, would like to have them all back, in a big garage. All would bring back great memories.
-
That's how it was with me, had to sell one to move to the next, let some really nice ones go :(

A few times I have dreamt that I find some or all of my old cars in a garage that I had forgotten about. They are there dusty and neglected but in good shape, maybe better than when I really had them. Once my '38 Deluxe Ford coupe was sitting next to my brother's '39 Standard. For brothers who were 5 years apart our coupes were the difference in 50s & 60s styles. I feel so good when I find them I start planning to get them back on the road and kick myself for forgetting I still had them. I think part of it is the real experience of going into a local shop's storage garage and seeing my Morris Minor Trailer (woody) sitting in the middle of the cars there with a flat tire and covered in dust and loose parts from other cars. I sold it for less than half of what it was worth to make a quick deal on a really nice survivor '49 Chevy pickup. I tried the '49 in on my first new car a '70 Blazer that I still have. :)
