My buddy sent me this pic. I don't know where he comes up with some of these. All I could think was Sixball could get up his drive way. (If it had an underdrive, power steering and some real brakes) ::)
Then I remembered dad had a history book on Chevy's and there was a proto-type Chevy/Goodyear thing. Found book and pic, not as tall as the Ford homemade though. ;D

Those would work. They remind me of some special order cars Studebaker used to send to Sadi Arabia in the '50s.

Sixball, I had never heard of them before. Really neat video towards the end of that page. That would have been a hoot to do the testing on them! ;D thanks for posting that!
Grandpa (dads father) was a long time Studebaker man. Dad had a really cool '51 1/2 ton short bed with a '55 President 249? V8, 3-on the tree and overdrive. That thing was smooth.
