Title: Cowl I.D. help needed

I picked up this cowl to cut out some patch panels I need to my firewall.  First off if any body needs any parts off of this let me know.  Secondly, I need to I.D. the cowl to post some adds on Craigslist and such.  I think it is for a truck....maybe '37-'38....just a guess on my part

Comparing those pictures..it looks "identical" to my son's 37 Chevy Master 4 dr sedan.

It could also be a 1938

You are probably correct, but it is exactly identical to the 37 sedan I'm working on..including the dash layout. Most of the parts listed for these cars cover the 37-39 range.

I went back and looked at the picture closer and see that the front window garnish molding is different between the  37 and 38,  The 38 has the defrost vent openings made into the garnish molding.

Here's a close shot...the 2nd pictures is the id plate area..the fender was molded in.  I moved the master cylinder mounting holes.

What I've been told is the hood, grille, radiator shell are the big differences between the two years, also I was told that there is a 1 inch difference in the width of the rear fenders the 37 being the smaller ones.
