Found these at an auction thought they were neat..assuming they were dealer add on or aftermarket 1930-1940's??

Cool find Ed. I would hate to try and identify those old hood ornaments. 30-40-50s had thousands of aftermarkets. About everytime my Dad and Uncle bought out an old Speed shop,Parts house or dealeship, they ended up with several boxs full. They slowly sold them off at swap meets.
J.C. Whitney comes to mind. I remember the 2 or 4 pages full in their catalogs😁

A friend we met, (as he traveled through here a lot) bought rust free Gm cars in the S.W. and N.O.S parts everywhere, then took them back to Minn. He could identify any GM part, usually part # too. He stopped in one day and my uncle thought he had bought a NOS 30s Buick Godess. Carlyle took a glance and said "Nope, hang on I picked up one last week". He walked out to his bus and brought it in. Pointed out the very suttle details of the original. They looked identical to me, then i noticed the little details he was talking about.😁
Dad had a case and a half of swans they got from an old speed shop with the clear plexiglass type lighted wings. Guess they were popular in the 50s.

There has to be a place for them near the pool or bird feeder. They are pretty and graceful.

Checked my mascot book...Packard used that design 30's-70's. Book has a few Packards listed but none exactly like yours. Your mascots are most likely aftermarket units. Attached a scanned pdf...hard to read...probably better to print it out. Check out mascot numbers 194 and 600...there is a matching narrative for them on the side.

Working on this for top of radiator shell....Been busy installing metal posts and rails for chain link fence and removing the wood post and wood top rails that was installed for the chain link fence...now 100+ ft to go

That looks really nice! I'd really like to have something like that on my '26. First choice would be a beautiful perfectly proportioned naked woman with wings mounted on a modern pressurized cap that was the real filler cap. Because of my aversion to things that look like what they are not the probable solution will be filling the whole in the shell and having the cap on a repo-radiator under the hood. The tough part is a pressure cap that fits the stock hole in the shell & top of radiator.
