Title: Former US Marine sings Fourth Verse of the Star Spangled Banner

Marine stuns crowd at Party; he is not in uniform
Watch this crowd. In the beginning when he started to sing, they
Were not even aware he was singing the national anthem.

Since the words to the anthem were written in 1814, I have a hard time understanding why today's Washingtonians say that
In God We Trust" should be taken off our money, etc. Could it be that they are just plain ignorant of history--and a whole lot more!

Thanks for the history lesson Ed. I was not aware of that verse,  should be included ALWAYS!

Ed ....Your above statement pretty well  sums up why our country headed in the wrong direction on so many levels these days ! Lets hope this November the tide begins to turn.

I didn't know there was another verse, the response of the crowd told it all.
