It is an interesting theory abut the sound connection of performance to todays drivers and loosing that connection but they could add wire wheels and put cards in the spokes.  :o

I bought a new Nissan Versa with manual transmission this year.  The engine is so quiet that I find myself revving up between shifts if I don't concentrate :o
