Change of plans - going to install steel fenders on the front of my 33 Master 5W. Laid the fenders down and it's obvious that I need to reduce the rake and raise the front of the cab. I'm just curious as to the clearance you have around the upper control arms with your steel 33 fenders. On my 34 3W there is a lot of clearance
Attached pics of the angle I need front and back..absolutely no hurry.
Thanks in advance..
Yes I put some wire wrap on the brake lines and tie rod ends and will be removing the mocked up headlight frame mount. ::)

Here you go ED. Hope it helps.
First 2 are from the front. Third is from the back. Others are without body on.

You know I have been your way a few times and just didn't think of it...I'll try to make it a point to stop the next time. Usually I make quick trips down and back.
Looks like I need to re-engineer my 33's profile again to make the fenders works. The front of the body needs to be lifted a couple inches to reduce the rake so the fenders will mount under the body. May have to raise the radiator which is 5" further out than stock..the hood is also 5" longer..just glad the car is still in the mock-up stage.
Won't be using the MG fenders...they are sold.

Sounds like a lot of geometry.

I see that you don't have a front splash pan installed but could you give me the distance between the front fenders..basically the width of the splash pan?
Also...want to be sure I have a car radiator cover...looking at the picture I get approx. 18" across.
Thanks

Ed,
I get the same 18" measurement across the grille as you. I do have the splash apron on the car. I get 19 5/8" between the fenders.
Here's a couple of pics. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks Tom...that should get my head thinking...looks like I need reduce my current body rake a bunch to get the fenders mounted and radiator lifted. Actually looking forward to it..I like the fender look..

Ed. FYI...my fiberglass one..my metal one still needs a lot of work...

Hey...Thanks guys...really appreciate the help..Now I know what I need to do. Will probably start with a fiberglass apron because it will need some modification.
