Making the smoker is not complicated, figuring which odds and ends to use was my problem, I used 20AWG Round Resitance Wire (3') wrapped around a woven fiberglass replacement wick.
Needed a method to separate the wire coiled around the wick sitting in the mineral oil reservoir .. and found the ceramic toothbrush holders at the local dollar store. Perfect!
The EVAP test ports on the cars is 12Mx1.5..used the screw on cap from an old R12 filling hose. Just remember that the schrader valve in the test port turns right to remove it before pushing smoke into the evap system.
The installed LP tank regulator is rated at 1lb psi (perfect) but for some reason it increased air flow so I just connected a spray gun regulator to get it back down to 1psi.
