Would some please list all the diffrences between the two? I figured a thread on this would be a great help when looking for parts. I know some of them, but it would be helpfull to have em all in one thread. Thanks in advance. Jeff.

Jeff, as far as I know Chevy used to take the Master from one year and that became the Standard for the following year, at which time they would make a new Master.  Now, having said that, it probably doesn't help one bit, but since I have a '35 Standard - supposedly the same as the '34 Master - I could provide you with any measurements you might need, and if someone else has a '34 Standard they could measure, you're home free.
One thing I did spot on my '35 is that it has a Master heater under the dash.

I know this is a month old, but I will tell you what I have learned over the past year. Std has a wheel base of 107", master 112". Std has a single gage cluster in th center, master has gage cluster behind steering wheel and a glove box. Grill shells are different,  master has chrome grill suround and diff height. On the coupes, my master(34) was a different size deck lid from (34/35) std. Diffs between 34 master and 35  master, 35 was a newer body style while the std remained the same. I don't claim to know all, this is just what  my experience between my two have been. Hope this may help.

P.S. if you have the latest Speedway "Steet Rod" catalog,  it has a pretty good "identify 33-35"chevy spotters guide under the old chevy section.

I thought the Master had a wider dash by about 1-3/4" but the discussion indicates the Master and Standard dash is interchangeable.

BTW: Welcome  "sammons"  sure would like to see pictures of your Chevy build, especially the suspension and the areas you split and widened.

The master 1934  and 1934 & 1935 standard series are two totally different cars.

the 1934 Chevrolet master has a KNEE ACTION front suspension 112"  wheelbase and the standard series for 34-35 has a 107" wheelbase with twin elliptical front springs and a beam axle. 
The master running boards are longer, the bumpers are 2" longer, every part of the body is different including grill radshell mesh , there is a stainless trim along the running boards runs from front fenders back, etc.  the stock engine is bigger. and on and on.  The whole car is bigger, wheelbase is 5" longer.

  You could park my 35 chev 3 window standard right next to a 34 master 3 window and most people couldn't tell you the difference, except I know what to look for right away.  I have had my coupe since 70. The rear fenders roll over more clamshell like over the tire.

what can you use from a master onto a standard?  Bumpers , radiator mascot, dash is same width, tail arms and pots and lenses.  The stainless steel center hood hinge can be shortened 1 1/4" to fit on a standard
there is a difference between 1934 Chevrolet standard series.......34 has a K member in middle, 35 has an X member with 186 rivets holding it together, the radiator ornament is diff with the 34 being much more beautiful than a 35 .

There is also differences on a 34 standard, there is an early 1934 2 door sedan where the gas tank cover panel is removable.  The late 1934----1935 2 door sedan body is 2" longer and the rear gas tank cover panel does not exist, because the whole rear panel with window is a one piece stamping.    Early sedans used the rear fender mount tail light arm and pot and lens.  later ones it was mounted off the rear bumper bolt in a casting.

I have never read so much WRONG information on one thread as that one posted in that group.  Nobody really knew anything, its like they did not know there were 2 34 Chevrolets.
