Nice fall ride today
« on: November 09, 2013, 08:26:15 PM »
I finished up the glass in the 28 chevy delivery, so I took it for a shakedown run to check for problems. The gas pedal seems to stick just a little, and I think there is a vibration from I belive a few flat spots on the tires from sitting for long durations, but by the time I got home it got a lot better. The temp stayed at 180 to 185 and the trans shifted perfectly. I believe it it going to be a great car for the owner. This is about all I am going to do to it.
Have a look

Saw the car in person this summer.  Cool car and the owner will definitely enjoy it.  Nice work John!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Thanks Tom. After to todays ride it's bittter sweet to give it up, hopefully the Buick roadster if I ever get back on it will ease the pain.

I like the fact that the body style if different and not something you see every day. Your Buick is in the same category and I'm sure your gonna enjoy cruising around in it even more.

Oh, that's ALL you going to do to it? What's left? Looks great, Ghost!
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

he picked it up last saturday thank God because I was enjoying the drive too much. He was real happy and was talking about paint in the near future. I am gonna miss it though it was my first homebuilt sedan delivery.
