Seriously, You think one of us would own one of those and be selling it to buy another one of these? Bowties are cool but really.  :o

I am not one for concourse cars, and that car restored could be one. On another note, I could be shot for thinking of what I would do to that car if I owned it. Thank God it's out of my reach. Actually I am just kidding I wouldn't have the heart to hurt a survivor like that.

Through the early maybe mid 80s there was an old lady in Reno who still drove the Auburn Speedster her dad gave her as a college graduation present ( college I think ). It looked like the one here. It was baby blue with white trim and red wheels. She wore a matching blue leather pilots  hat. Her makeup looked like Joan Crawford in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane". She was treated lake a movie star all over town. It was something to see.

I can see that car now...........2 tone green, tan leather interior, kugel IFS, Jag rear IRS, both air bag equipted.   Motor 572---740 hp with tremec 6 speed stick.

wire Wheels 18 x 6 fronts and 20 x 7 rears.

great body style.  I have seen big early packards, 32 Lincoln V12, 32 90 series nash phaeton and other big cars all done up and unbelievably gorgeous  .  trick is the wheels and tires have to be tall enough to suit the stance.

No matter what the build if the wheels and stance are wrong nothing else you do can fix it. Even if "everyone" does it it is still wrong. :)
