My Dad just bought another '33. This one is a 5 window.
To give you a little background he currently has a 3 window that he finished up shortly after I was born. When he built it originally he put fiberglass fenders on it because the steel ones were really rough. We last winter he started working out the steel fenders and let me tell you there was a lot of hammer and dolly work going on. Made us really wish we had an english wheel. The plan was to finish up the front ones this winter and then put everything on the car and repaint it. Well I found this '33 down in Virgina and we worked out a deal. The car is really straight! Especially the fenders. It as has a trunk on it instead of a rumble seat. The 3 window currently a rumble seat, but once my brother and I got around 8-9 years old we were too big to ride back there. Ever since then he wanted to convert it to a trunk. Now with the 5 window he has all the hardware and a new lid to work with. The previous owner did make a big mistake when he took all the wood out of the driver's side of the car without bracing the body first. Therefore, the body is starting to sag a little. It also came with a ton of extra parts (2 hoods, extra grill shell, all lights, and much more)!
His plan right now is to use it as a parts car to finish up the 3 window and then decide what we are going to do with the 5 window. We have enough parts to build another street rod or do we just sell it as is. I guess that will be determined in the future, but I thought you guys would like seeing some pictures.
