Looks like some tight places. I had to change a headlight on my wife's Grand Cherokee and my hands didn't want to do it.

The window froze on the truck and I broke the regulator.  Swapped in a new unit Saturday.  Took about 20 mins and $88.
Mechanic wants $300, that's double for parts and an hour of labor.  ::)

Did some pads for a military restore "half track"
13 cushions,  8 pieces per cushion , 108 pieces total.
Waiting for carpet on the 31 chev.
Still waiting for more snow to go jeeping. Had only 2 storms this season.

Had a camaro convertible in today.  Big gap in the back allowing water in.  Left something big in the trunk and bent the rear rail.
While that's waiting for parts, finished up the 31. Top seats and carpet installed.  I guess it's just a prop for the Water park but it looks easy enough to get running.  Only has rear brakes,  possible parade car.
While working underneath I noticed how nice the frame was,  like someone blasted and painted it.

That is the original engine a 1931 194ci. The original "Cast Iron Wonder" that put Chevy on the map in 1929. That thing is a gem! What is up with the extra set of headlights under the hood?

Got my A/C delete box from The Parts Place. Had to do a little modification to make it work, which I expected. Took a couple hours of in and out to get it right. I also had to replace the squirrel cage because the a/c sits too deep in the new box. Now I'm going to install it on the car and jump the blower motor to make sure nothing is hitting...........fingers crossed.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

So I'm doing some work on a friend's car, a 2004 Mustang GT. It's super nice, clean car with low mileage, but has been sitting for some time. I'm doing all the things you might do for a car that needs some love. Anyway, here's the problem: the car was sitting under a walnut tree. Walnuts fell on the car leaving about 20-30 small dime/quarter sized dents on the roof and top of the fenders. I wanted to try a paintless dent repair system (I posted a stock picture), any of you guys ever try this?

I spent the day in the shop cleaning, tossing, tagging & rearranging. I'm setting aside some items for eBay. There are many more days of it to come. Helping families go through the stashes if 5 dead friends in the last 2 years has inspired me. I have less mess than any of them but it is still too much. I am helping with the first estate sale for one this weekend. I have had trouble sleeping after helping set it up Saturday. It will also make my spaces useable again.  :)

I was knee deep in Rusty Bowtie parts all weekend at my friend's estate sale. Chevy pickups, six & V8 engines, trannys, rear ends.....Harleys galore. Will be doing it again March 26th. Inspiration for my cleanup here.

He who dies with the most toys leaves a huge mess for their families! :(

Dealer work around here has been pretty slow lately.  So I decided to fix the seats in the Dakota.
Passenger side had a cigarette 🚬 burn on a seam,  sewed the seam in tighter and burn is gone.
Foam was in good shape but added 1/2" across the face for good measure.
Started tearing down the driver's side today.

Late to the party🥴 Chopper i've done various different hail dent pulling approches, but not with that tool. My PDR guy showed me a lot with that tool. Key to it is small steps... don't over pull. Several smaller pulls and check. He had a white nylon (large Crayon looking pointed stick) that he maticulously tapped down the secondary damage, then.tap any over pull back down. When you have a dent, you have primary damage, (down dent) and secondary damage, (ring up around the dent.). Lighting is key to seeing damage/removing damage. I've found reflected light (like from a window down the panel)  is really good to see whats going on. They use a particular type light down the side to see. Do Not Attempt In Direct Sunlight! You are just flying blind!😁
