Title: LS in my S10 Chassis

Well I got the 5.3 mounted in the S10 chassis for my 1953 3100 project and ordered the recommended Hedman headers and they would work if the engine set higher.  You can see the first tube hits the control arm.  Is it possible to raise the engine?  Any suggestions?

if that is the recommended header for the LS motor in a S10, then looks like seller getting headers back.  They are supposed to fit the design combination they are made for.  If motor needs to be higher and so would trans mount.  Better contact seller and get straightened around.

You want to deal with JEGS or SUMMIT, I would think.

Thanks. The headers were recommended by Code 504 and purchased from Jegs.

I would think a "hugger style" with straight down dumps would work better. Yours look like S10 "truck" headers.  Something like these:
