Is it possible for a car to have a personality of its own? I’m sure we can all agree that an inanimate object should not be able to display such a human characteristic but none the less it sometimes seems like a few of the cars that I’ve owned were somehow able to defy the laws of nature. I’ve built some cars that seemed to have a sunny disposition and were always eager to take me on a trouble free cruise through the countryside with nary a hiccup and only asked for the usual regular maintenance that all machines require. Then there were those with a more sinister side that, no matter how much time and effort I put into checking, tweaking and maintaining their every need always seemed to find some way to aggravate me on a regular basis. It makes you wonder if there is something more going on here than first meets the eye. Has anyone else noticed this phenomenon or should I seek professional help?

Moose,
I've had cars that went together like they were eager to be taken for a ride and a couple fought me all the way. It seems like when I was younger and had less patience, they didn't go together as easy as they do now. I'm not one to name my cars but I know a couple people that do. Usually the names fit the personality of the car.

I don't know if any of my cars had a personality, but some were always prone to give me trouble, where others seemed like I never even had to check the oil. I never named one of my cars, but at one time, or another, all of them were probably called a f%&*ing piece of s+*t!!
