Title: Some pics for Ghost28.
Post by: Kiwijeff on March 04, 2014, 11:29:20 PM
My Ford buddy down the street showed me some pics of two Kiwi built 34 Chevys, made into Sedan Deliveries, and i thought id better share em with everyone here. Im sure Ghost28 will enjoy em, and maybe even knows of them. I dont know much about them, so heres some pics.

Real nice and I love the stance. Do you know if it is a real delivery? It really doesn't matter but the deliverys are so rare.

Oboy...that's nice.  Can you ask your buddy whether he knows how much it has been chopped?

If you're able to see the car itself, any chance you can get some more pics?  I would like to see what he did to mount that one piece hood he has made as well.  That's a nice job.
That 3/4 rear view really does look just right.

Look's to be on air ride to me. Look's also that it was a 2 door sedan with the bustle bac/trunk removed
very cool .

I think you're right about the air ride there W.R.  It's a tad low to be driving like that!

The picture of it painted. When you look through the glass it apears to have a back door Try to get some shots of it and ask how it was done.  Thanks John

Im off early Thursday to the earthquake city, on other side of the Island. Thats where the Deliveries are, and the builder is keen to get some 34 parts off me that im not using. I will get lots of pics, and if the guy is puter literate, i will try and get him to join here.

Thanks for the update Kiwijeff.  I'm sure if your man can build that car, he can figure out a computer!  Looking forward to seeing lots more pics.

Had a great trip, but my phone died, so i couldnt get pics. I met Roy, the owner of the Delivery, but it was at his workplace, so didnt get to see the car. I did get to see several cool hot rods driving around the city, (it was a hot sunny day) and saw a very cool patina'd 55 Nomad parked on the side of the road. Roy is coming over my way next week, so i will have a better talk with him then. He knows of this site, so i will see if i can get him to join. Heres pics of what we brought back with us, taken the new morning.

A few more details. The roof is chopped 3 inches in the front, and i think, an inch and a half in the rear, as Roy dosent like the rear windows to small. Now heres the cool part. The 34 was used by its original owner (as in, guy who brought it new), for transporting his homemade wiskey. As it had no rear trunk, or boot, as we call em down here, he grafted a 39 Chev trunk to the 34. Roy of course, deleted it, and will be working on building its new rear door, over Easter. I will hopefully find out more, when i catch up with him tomorrow.
