Title: JC Whitney Insulation, Window Glass Run
Post by: EDNY on February 05, 2013, 08:25:14 PM
Just rec'd my 4'x24' roll of heat/sound insulation from JC Whitney..with free shipping and 15% off - it cost me $49.12 to the door. It's about 3/8" thick and silver on one side...a bunch of insulation with great ratings for the money!

FYI: Just bought a supply of window glass run channel and sweeps from forum member "Jan Bogert10" he has a bunch left over and will give you a deal.

HELP:  Anyone here know how to make glass patterns? Doors sliding windows are no problem (1/4" luan)....should the front/rear windshield glass be tight inside the rubber gasket? (Steele Rubber Company)

If all else fails these guys used to have patterns for just about anything. This is the contact information that I got somewhere awhile ago.... Not sure it's still good.

Moose...you made the light come on...my glass shop in Vermont (I live 2 miles from VT) may just have the patterns. I'll give them a call tomorrow...just need them 2-1/2" shorter than stock.

Thanks
