most people shipping fenders usually do it with greyhound bus lines.  those they will take, the 34-35 style with long tongue, the tongue is what puts it way over what they will take.

As I found out, had to get a fender freighted by tractor trailer from Oregon, cost $550.  was perfect fender and worth it.

After doing some of the on the  major bad spots on the fenders and sandblasting fenders...thought I  needed to shoot some primer on these fenders before the rust set in again.. got out this morning and  shot some High Teck Direct to Metal high build primer on the fenders , now the real work will begin in getting all of the small dents and scrapes and creases out...I don't claim to be a body man but I like doing my own work , and it saves me some $$$ ::)  Pics 1 and  Driver side fender ..  3 and 4 Pass fender
Passenger side fender was the worst of the two  had  major dent above and to the left of pointed spear and  wheel well lip damages that need to be cut out and replaced in two places.....

Haha, Ed i've done that many times myself. We've been sticking right around 70° here. I noticed while ago when I took the ol dog out, green spots in the yard and the trees are starting to leaf out. Not good on the trees as we usually get a cold snap in march sometime.  Have fun man!

I guess daylight savings is just two weeks away. ;D

Wow they've come a long way Ed!  It's nice when you can do some of the work yourself.  Keep that money in your pocket :D
