A question came up on another forum that reminded me that I had a piece of tech information stashed away on my computer that might come in handy for some of you guys. It talks about how it is possible, if you have the courage to repair or lengthen the capillary tube on a mechanical temperature gauge. This repair is definitely not for the faint of hart but if the gauge doesn't work or the tube is too short to fit your application then you have nothing to loose by trying. If all else fails you can still send it out to a professional gauge repair shop and have them do the work or install an electric gauge but what fun is that?
