A lot of cars will end up at the bottom of hills. If school ever opens kids should be taught about all of the things that come from petroleum and animals beside gas and meat.
When I was a kid in Texas we had an old Oliver tractor that had a separated furl tank a small section fo Gasoline and a large ongse for what you had the most of. It started, with a crank.on gas and once armed up you switched and tuned to whatever responded to the fuel you had, spark, and more/less compression. It smoked, knocked, and plowed as long as you could stick with it.
We bought this place when I was 27 (75) because it had a good amount of water running out of the ground, more pinion pine than we could ever burn, plenty of small game, and "potential". We were able to pay cash and build on the cheap and out of sight. Many of our family and friends made light of us as we experimented with gas an diesel generators, wind turbines, and solar energy. We are not as independent as we could be but the "re-new bees" will provide much of what we need when they abandon their "Ranchetts" & "Homesteads" as soon as Amazon stops delivering their "Magnum Tomato Grow Boxes", organic home brewing & wine making kits, and EZbeeZ local honey setups. If God had intended for these folks to feed themselves he would never have created fingernail files and instant anything.
