Title: My mini lathe
Post by: EDNY on December 14, 2021, 03:37:05 PM
Finally decided to buy a mini-lathe that I can keep in my heated shop. Have a Rockwell 11X48 in an unheated area of my barn...doesn't like starting when cold!

Anyway ordered a MX-210V 8X16 lathe...it showed up yesterday, the shipping container was upside down, smashed and even missing a forklift leg.  Refused it, UPS is returning it and the original shipper gave me a new tracking number.

After seeing the tornado damage down south....I don't feel bad at all.  Those poor folks have a long road ahead.

Looks like your crate went thru the Bowling Green Ky UPS terminal, BG is a mess

I wouldn't have accepted that either, who knows what the inside of that crate looks like.
