Title: About FedEx Ground TV Commercial, 'Conspiracy Bookstore
Post by: EDNY on November 28, 2017, 08:45:20 PM
This commercial has been driving me nuts...I just could not understand what the woman says to the Fedex guy...so I found this link:

https://www.ispot.tv/ad/wKe3/fedex-ground-conspiracy-bookstore

You can play the commercial and try to understand what she is saying...I Can't!

Anyway from the comments below the video a poster gives the following translation:

She says 'If that is your real name', after coworker says hello Bill.

Bill says, 'William actually'

Several years ago UPS launched a advertising campaign that showed a UPS truck heading out on a dirt road from the flats into the distant mountains. They claimed that if you had an address they would deliver to your door. Central Nevada alone makes that claim a total joke. We only live 4 miles from Highway 50 less than 30 miles from the State Capitol. Not one of the 15+ items we ordered were delivered! The add campaign went away without as much as a "Thank you ma'am".

I was totally amazed when the most recent propane delivery was done by a driver who backed up the hill for the last 1/4 mile. His boss had sent him in the "highway" truck though all the drivers knew it wouldn't make it. He was fine with it and couldn't wait to get back and tell the boss what a "dumbass" he is. Boss = dumbass we all know that.
