woodremover...I will measure the height of my '35 Standard later today for you.  Have to open the garage door and move stuff out of the way, engine hoist and whatnot.  Just tried to measure it as is, and because it leans back a bit I think the measurement might be a bit misleading.  I believe the '34 Master should be the same, but I don't know anyone locally who has one that I can check with.
I'll measure it and get a pic at the same time.

woodremover.....I can also help.  I have a 35 standard 2 door sedan and a 34 master 3 window coupe.  I don't know if the sedan and coupe are different or not.  What height are you looking for exactly?  As cocobolo mentioned the grills have a slight rake to them.  Do you just want us to lay the tape on the center trim piece and measure the overall height?  Please let us know.  I want to get you the best info possible.

I took a few measurements and pics...and I ended up putting a pry bar (straight, square rod) across the top of the original radiator (mine is still in place).  I get 33 1/8" there.  Now the top of the rad sticks out just a tiny bit above the shell, maybe 1/8".  So if Senior31 (who I notice is really just a kid! :)) gets the same measurement, then you're golden.

Also took a pic of the bottom of the shell.  I think mine is in original, undamaged condition.  Can't quite say the same for the fenders at the front...looks like they were used as a battering ram.

Okay I measured how you requested. My 35 standard matches your pictures ( I couldn't measure exactly the same because I have the radiator cap Installed).  On the other hand,   my 34 master was taller. It measured 34 3/4"

By the way I am a kid on here!   ;D  That is why I am trying to learn as much as possible from everyone here. Hopefully I will be able to pass on everything I learn here when it is my time. FYI Senior is an old football nickname  :)

Well, that's interesting.  I didn't know the '34 Master was taller.  Learn something new every day.

Senior, does your Master grille have the small crossbars behind the front vertical pieces?  They don't seem to show in your pics.  Just a curiosity question, that's all.  I like the look better on yours than on mine.

Don't be fooled about the Kid bit...I'm just a kid as well!  :P

Yes,  it does have the cross bars. They were just painted black many years ago and only the front edges of the vertical bars were polished. I hope that helps.

Now there's another good idea!  Seems to me I remember that being done some 50 years ago, but I forgot all about it.  Thank you for that.

good to know that the 35 standard shells are shorter
