Title: What a joke.
Post by: Rattiac on November 17, 2021, 02:18:56 PM
Trying to sell some car parts locally online is a freaking joke. 😡 (ksl classifieds)
I quit doing the text option cause of these half English speaking mo-fo's and most of them are scammers.
This time I left a number with "leave a message" so I can filter out the serious buyers.  All I got was my phone blowing up with 20-30 calls from 1-866 numbers all day and not one message or serious inquiry.
Thought about just throwing them away 😕.

What are you guy's using to sell parts???

Facebook Marketplace is your best bet to list all your parts.
Once you create your Facebook Marketplace listings than you can share your ad with several other Facebook group sites and then it’s a sharing experience with people viewing your items.
Facebook Marketplace is a powerful tool with sharing and all for FREE.
I only use this to make money and spend money.
Here’s a few samples of my Facebook Marketplace ads and Facebook groups that I joined.
I sold several items plus rented out half my big garage space and sold my 34 Chevrolet complete rolling driving frame and all my parts with it which is now a 34 Chevrolet boat tail speedster is off to Canada with the new owner.
Good luck

Because of where I live yard sales and parking a car out front with a sigh don't work. I have some parts cars I need to get rid of and a friend volunteered to let me put them in his yade and list them on Craig's List. My son buys and sells a lot there but I'm not sure. Lots of good parts I hate to haul them to the crusher.

I had to delete the ad.  It was getting nutz.  One call I kept getting and the number was different every time but the same lady.  Asking for Julie,  I said firmly "who is this"?
She said Nancy from Healthcare.gov .😳 I told her quit calling there's no Julie.  But of course the calls continued all day yesterday.
Today only one call.  8)
My woman has FB,  I'll have her place a market place ad.
Asked a guy I know about bringatrailer.com . He's had good luck selling whole cars on there.  I may put the 32 on there "one day".  :'(
