Recently picked up an older Magline hydraulic trailer....would be great for loading lathes, safes, tools etc. It has a fiberglass 100 gallon tank, pump and 100' fire hose setup that I'm removing. (Dexter wheels and surge brake)
Attached a picture of mine which has the "manual hydraulic pump" on front along with a video of a later unit with electric hydraulic.
Anyone have any experience with one?

That will be handy! I could have used that many times. Moving my mill and lathe would have been much easier and safer.

OLD POST ....I did get the trailer painted, new tires etc a while back. The front hydraulic pump rubber boot is cracked and some water got into the pump tank. Been trying to source out another pump or better yet a rebuild kit. The pump activates the two single action cylinders.
Anyone have experience locating hydraulic pump rebuild kits? Thought it might be similar to a master cylinder but I can't locate any sources for the pump (id tag picture attached). There are two casting numbers on the pump body 1014 and B1120.
Thanks

Ya could upgrade to a more modern pump like on those newer black dump trailers you see everywhere, if you can't find parts.

Haven't had a chance to really work on it yet...there are no rubber diaphragms inside like a master cylinder (has small pistons).....looks real nice inside...acts like it needs to be primed. Hydraulic fluid might need a few more degrees...going to warm up around here in the next couple of days.

The hydraulic pump on my Ford tractor looses it's prime if it sets for a while. Bleeding it while cranking the engine gets the air out and it works fine. Some day I hunt that leak. :)
