Title: Old License Plates In The Garage
Post by: TFoch on April 09, 2017, 05:10:11 PM
Does anyone else have old plates in their garage?  I have some from my Mom & Dad's birth year (1932 & 1933), mine and my wife's birth year.  I also have a few of my old initial plates up there.  Then I have a couple from my childhood friend that now lives in England and one from Kiwi Jeff from New Zealand.

I have plenty more, (and some of dad's old 70s-80-s Dealer plates) but ran out of wall space. Use to collect old tags that were issued for the model year of my cars, gave most away. I don't have any old ones as far back as you Tom.

I have a nice wee collection, and a couple of Toms in my shed, but they will soon be a boxed up, as I'm moving on soon.

Most of mine are outside the shop around the door. At night the headlights light them up at more than 1/4 mile down the road. A benefit of living in the boonies? ::)

Many of mine aren't old that is why they reflect the lights. Some go back to the 20s.

I have a few.  I just picked up a kansas antique, it came with the 55 chevy I bought.
