1933 Carburetor - Carter?

(1/2) > >>

RCstang:
I'm trying to get ready to bring my 1933 master coupe home.  I took some pictures to see what I would need.  From this picture it seems obvious that I'll need to rebuild or replace the current carburetor.  A few questions...

1. What was the original carburetor on a 1933 Master coupe?
2. Will a Carter W-1 work as a direct replacement?
3. What is the best option for this engine?

This engine hasn't been started in 7 years so I thought that I need to work on the carb, fuel lines, filter, and gas tank first.  Then attack the electrical.  Any other thoughts on this would be great.  (link the nearby gas tank thread)

Happy Thanksgiving,
Ron
