I have had two 39 coupes but always thought that the 37/38 body style was much better looking. I haven't found one of those yet but you never know what tomorrow will bring. Your 38 is one great looking car...Everything is just right.

I agree with Moose that is one sweet looking 38!  Vette59jdwl that 2005 Silverado and RV is a real nice way to see the country :)
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

As my 34 Chevy is in the project stage, my driver is my avatar. Its a 1929 Hudson Hot Rod. Its powered by a Holden (Australian GM) six, with 5 speed Toyota box, and diff. I brought it in June 2013 as a rat rod, and spent 5 months transforming it into a hot rod.

My 32 has not even reached project status yet.and i have had it like forever I like your 29 Hudson  I once had a 29 essex truck but that's long gone. nice ride.Funny when you say bought a hot rod transformed into a hot rod.We all swing from different branches of life  We all have different ideas of hot rods and i think that is what makes us . US. We take a hot rod and make it our way. That is what is so magnificient about our sport  we are all different and so are our cars/trucks. mooseman

Thanks Mooseman. I just wrote out a big intro, and then it disappeared. Theres a diffrence between hot rods, rat rods, and street rods, that is universal, but its nice to be on a site that dosent cater to just one type. We are all car guys after all. I also own a stock 28 Hudson, that is a project, with a lot missing. Parts are hard to find, or stupidly expensive. All id like to do is save a piece of history, but its becoming a chore. The 34 Chevy Roadster Pick Up im working on, is a pleasure, and im enjoying it very much.

The coolest car that I have next to my '32 coupe is a '67 Mustang that I bought in the summer of '76. My daily is a '99 Dodge Ram P/U. My wife drives an '04 Lincoln Aviator. My teen son has a '00 toyota and we have a '01 Monte Carlo as a back-up car. I never was much for new cars, although we did lease one or two. It's hard for me to get past those payments.
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

When it not so cold out, we drive this spear chucker special. My son was cleaning it up today... Might be trading it for a taildragger project. Not the one pictured.
