Obviously we all like early iron. But what else makes you tick? Personally I have a huge addiction to lowered Chevy trucks. Although I do like anything with wheels, the Chevy's make me smile the most.
Let's see what else has passed through your garages.
Here's a few pics of the other stuff that I built or in the process of building to start us off.

A few more,

Those are some cool trucks. The only truck I ever owned was a VW diesel that finally rusted out so bad that I recently had to send it to the promised land. For now I'm having to borrow my wife's car until I decide on a replacement.

I love the Blazer, I still am wanting a lowered 99 2wd 2dr Tahoe. Nice trucks.

In order to answer this I need to have a clarification on the terms "vintage Chevy" and " early Bowtie". I considered my '38 Ford coupe to be vintage when I got my license in '61 but it was only 23 years old and not technically an antique yet. My first new car was a '70 Blazer it is now 43 and about as vintage as a Blazer gets. Of my GMs it is the second newest. I have a '53 pickup, a '68 flatbed, and a '99 Yukon that are all less vintage than the '26 roadster project. ;D

Nice rides guys. I like the diversity of manufacturers.
-
You guys have some cool rides. My daily driver is a 2002 Toyota 4Runner but when I go on vacation I always rent a convertible like this one from my trip out west this summer.
-
Ok my #1 ride right now is a 2005 Silverado lowrider with an 03 hood 5.3 chipped gibbson headers flowthrough flowmasters auto with lock up and ghost flames gold and burgandy

I have had two 39 coupes but always thought that the 37/38 body style was much better looking. I haven't found one of those yet but you never know what tomorrow will bring. Your 38 is one great looking car...Everything is just right.

I agree with Moose that is one sweet looking 38! Vette59jdwl that 2005 Silverado and RV is a real nice way to see the country :)

As my 34 Chevy is in the project stage, my driver is my avatar. Its a 1929 Hudson Hot Rod. Its powered by a Holden (Australian GM) six, with 5 speed Toyota box, and diff. I brought it in June 2013 as a rat rod, and spent 5 months transforming it into a hot rod.
-
My 32 has not even reached project status yet.and i have had it like forever I like your 29 Hudson I once had a 29 essex truck but that's long gone. nice ride.Funny when you say bought a hot rod transformed into a hot rod.We all swing from different branches of life We all have different ideas of hot rods and i think that is what makes us . US. We take a hot rod and make it our way. That is what is so magnificient about our sport we are all different and so are our cars/trucks. mooseman
-
Thanks Mooseman. I just wrote out a big intro, and then it disappeared. Theres a diffrence between hot rods, rat rods, and street rods, that is universal, but its nice to be on a site that dosent cater to just one type. We are all car guys after all. I also own a stock 28 Hudson, that is a project, with a lot missing. Parts are hard to find, or stupidly expensive. All id like to do is save a piece of history, but its becoming a chore. The 34 Chevy Roadster Pick Up im working on, is a pleasure, and im enjoying it very much.
-
The coolest car that I have next to my '32 coupe is a '67 Mustang that I bought in the summer of '76. My daily is a '99 Dodge Ram P/U. My wife drives an '04 Lincoln Aviator. My teen son has a '00 toyota and we have a '01 Monte Carlo as a back-up car. I never was much for new cars, although we did lease one or two. It's hard for me to get past those payments.
-
This is my regular ride during the summer and usually pulls our trailer. This is a picture of the old girl when she made a break away in downtown Phoenix Arisona
-
I was digging around this afternoon because its snowing like crazy out and i came across a stick with my pimpmobile on it , its not done yet and i wish to lower it, I do have a continetal kit for the rear and i have a set of full skirts.TIME,thats what i need more time
-
I found it the crappy contintal kit with the phonie wire wheel so we have to change that now don't we
-
So I found a 14 inch wheel just like the big BUICK wheels that i now have on the car and decided to cut it in half????WHY NOT
-
OK i cant go back now
-
And when i got it cut it fit like a glove
-
When it not so cold out, we drive this spear chucker special. My son was cleaning it up today... Might be trading it for a taildragger project. Not the one pictured.
-
Go ahead tell me thats a 68 amx with a 390 Stick just tell me lol lol make me droooooool
-
Here's my 38 Coupe
Great looking ride...Love those 37-38-39 Chevys...........
-
Thank You, I need to post some new pictures, I changed the wheels to polished aluminum slots this past winter, and the hood has been put back on. Made a big difference in its looks.
-
Here's my 38 Coupe
Very Nice Ride..Lookin Goood ;D
-
logride
I love that Piper Pacer....Do you still have it?
Moose
-
No it's not mine. I'm looking at trading the AMX or bug convert for a pacer project. It has a newer o 320 on it.
My son is probably more interested than me. Because the last 10% of the work is 90% of the work.
Do you fly?

After renting them on our vacations over the last few years, I decided to buy a "new to me" summer daily driver. It's a 2013 Camaro convertible with only 15,000 miles on it. Got a great deal on it. I kept my old Toyota 4Runner to use in these New England winters.
-
Tom, sooner or later I knew it. Congrat's
-
Tom;; I think that was a good move That there camaro would not do to good in the snow at least not around here vett359jdwl
-
Depending on how long you keep it the rental savings may pay for it and you'll have more beer money on your vacations. You are a financial wizard! :o
-
Nice work Tom.
My new daily is a 93 V8 Land rover.
What a weapon! It's full time four wheel drive, and so far, it's handled everything I've thrown at it.
The hot rod is still sitting in the shed, waiting on a small cash injection.
-
I recently bought a 84 Blazer full size 4 by 4 for $650.00 old and rusty. After a little work everything works on it even the air conditioning. My plan is drive it awhile and try to find a tri five chevy truck to swap the gear onto. It should make a nice daily 4 wheeler if it all comes together.

That would be very cool, I even had a moment of madness before I sold the 35 Chevy, and wondered how it would go on the Land rover chassis.
I'd love to do an AD truck with modern 4x4 chassis under it.

hear are some of the cars I built
