I watched this incident on a video earlier and it seemed that this officer was doing  a good job and the woman was out of hand. That being said I think my dealings with police have been about 50/50. I have never been arrested. I have never been in jail. Close, but never. I have dealt with some true gentlemen like the Montana Highway Patrolman who responded to the wreck my wife and I were in on our honeymoon in 1969 and the two New Mexico troopers who insisted on changing a flat this summer out side of Santa Fe. But there were others who were abusive, arrogant, and down right confrontational. I would never say that any law enforcement officer should be shot but some should be fired. It is a tought job and it takes a special kind of person to do it. Sadly I doubt if there are enough of those special people to fill the need. However, God bless them all and let them all get home safe.

I watched the entire car stop, which is over 10 minutes long. Once the cop gets behind her and activates his siren it takes this woman over a minute before she even pulls over. Then she demands to see the police officer's I.D. and driver's license! She complains that she has frozen food in the car and begs for a warning. She also yells at the cop for calling her "Ma'am".
I have been a cop in Philly for over 34 years, now. There are good and bad cops, just like good and bad, doctors, roofers and auto mechanics . True sometimes it's hard to keep your cool because people often like to test you. The cop in this video handled himself very well, I think. Just yes them to death and do your job.

I'm always kind, polite and courteous now matter how I'm treated by the officer. But there are some that do have an attitude. But they could just be having a bad day as their job has to be a tuff one.
