Ghost,  here is a quick suffex code (right frt stamp pad, end two letters) for '57 Vette
EF  FH  EH  FG  EM  FK  EG  EL  EN
if it's one of these, I can give you the HP etc.

Also someblocks were carried over to '58 (and some truck apps) '58 vette suffex
CQ  CT  CU  CS  CR  DH  DJ  DG

If you happen to get a match, price just went up!

Thanks but  no cigar on the letters fOR a corvette. The right front stamping  F620GC I am pretty sure it's the original engine out of the 57 hardtop.

Ah shucks, but you never know. I bought a '57 vette block from dad to build for my Belair. It was the FG suffix code- (245hp orig low horse 2x4bl, auto app).

It looks like Lonnie has everything road ready with the '55 for Salina, hope you can make it. If ya do my cell # is 620-826-3331, maybe we can meet up.
