Has anyone had any experience with this material or have an opinion?

Looks like cool stuff. Might have to look into it for my door panels.

Could save a lot of time diamond stitching...that shipping isn't cheap and isn't reduced a whole lot as you buy more.

Wonder if they would do panels with material that the customer supplies? Tuff getting all the colors to match on an entire interior.
-
Too bad they don't have it in tuck & roll.

Is this close?

Yes I'll have to check it out.

My stepmom used that on one of dads interiors. Great on door panels but a little stiff and bunchy to work with on seats other than straight bench or just used for inserts on buckets.
I've used the tuck and roll stuff on door panels, good stuff.

That's what I was thinking of was for door panels.

Shipping is one of the biggest issues we have in the upholstery world, it gets expensive.
Since UPS changed the rates to dimensions+weight, a roll of material is 54"+- width and suppliers like to use a roll even if it's only a yard or less.
We've tried getting them to fold it up and put it in a smaller box or padded envelopes but they dont listen.
That looks like good vinyl. Measure twice, order once. 8)

When ordering this type of pre-made panel the colors and texture is limited and may not match with what you want. I've just ran across several walking foot sewing machines that may be interesting for the DIY group. First is a Sailrite LS-1 for $700. Second is a Consew CP206 for $400 and last is a Rex 607 for $270 (knockoff of the Sailrite). I've found it fun and rewarding to sew my own panels and floor mat edging.

Are you using a clutch or servo motor? (I switched to servo on my Juki)
