I am a republican and a conservative, however, I don't see it in this article, but I do wonder if these were all introduced by democrats? Also, what did the republicans toss into the bill?.....It's just good to have all the info.

In a way...makes no difference who introduced them...they both approved it.  This bill even allows illegal aliens to receive stimulus checks...that should be a real deterrent for illegal immigration :o

This is what "bipartisan" means, getting screwed by both parties at the same time which is how we get it MOST of the time. People in other countries got far more help than citizens here got. I also heard that my wife and I qualified for checks last time but got nothing. This is why the president should have a line item veto. No matter who the president is ALL of this crap would not get through.
Years ago I read a book that was written about a 600 page bill that was passed into law. Less than 20 pages addressed the issue the bill was said to deal with. The rest was "pork". One part was to take care of a former congressman's widow and declare that she would pay no taxes and all fo her debt was forgiven. She was also given a very generous stipend for the rest of her life. That was only a 600 page bill!

Because of the increase in Medicare my Social Security "benefit" next year will be $.95 a month.  Every 3 months I can almost but a beer!  ;D
