This Pontiac was purchased from the grandson of the original owner. His grandmother bought it new and drove it till she was 91 years of age! When first approached, the grandson said his mother was living with him and she would not allow him to sell "Mom's old car" For two years friends and I made sure we drove a personalized vehicle when visiting to see if she had changed her mind. Finally at one such visit the mother asked "Are you going to make Mom's old car look pretty like those cars you guys are driving?" "YES!" "OK, you can buy it." Drive line is Engine 350 SBC, trans 700R4 and the original '49 rearend.
Here are pictures of it from the day friends and I pulled it from it's 15 year resting place.

Beautiful car and great work but I gotta' say as a diehard inliner......... ::) My uncle had a '52 Pontiac convertible. It was light green with a dark green top, wide whites and skirts. One of the prettiest cars I remember. He traded it in on a new '56. Red with a black top not near the class. ;) Anyway beautiful build and thanks for the great pictures. 8)

Yes it does. Had to have that happen for night cruises. Right? 8)
