Title: george town hill climb
Post by: ghost28 on August 13, 2015, 08:43:53 AM
Me and a buddy are gonna go to the hill climb this friday and saturday, Its made up of old hot rods and originals that take on a mountain climb one at a time. A friend has a 29 ford coupe with a banger engine in it. If ya like you can google the george town hill climb to se what it all about.

Ghost, I checked out that website. Man, it looks like a great time, and it's historic! I hope you get good weather and good luck to you and your buddy for a low e.t.a ;D! It's going to be a blast.

That sounds like fun. I love seeing hot rods work. Drags are OK but throwing in a hill and some curves is great. I think this car from Salt Lake City will be there. I've been following the build on the HAMB. I hoped to see it at Speed Week but that didn't pan out. If you see it please look it over for me. I know it's not a Bow Tie but '36 Fords are almost as pretty as a Chevy. :o

Cool  8) He is still posting about what he did to get ready for the trip and has not gotten to the actual hill climb stuff yet. Here is a link to the build thread for the car. His work is flawless and he did a lot of detail work that most people will ever notice. I love the color, so much class. If only Chevy had made '36 Fords.  ::) Can you imagine a 37-39 Chevy done in a like style? :)

The HAMB has a few threads about the hill climb, and that 36 ford is in one of the pictures heading up the hill.
I got all my pictures from my camera sent to my email and down loaded them to a folder, now I cant find the damn folder.  :-[

Ghost maybe you didn't down load them, if anybody ask just say you didn't do anything wrong. It seems to work for others. ;) LOL
