1929 windsheild post aluminum or pot metal
Chevyv8-348:
Hi everybody, new to Rusty Bowtie. I stumbled across this while looking for any info on how these go together and such. I noticed in my box of chevy puzzle peices that one of my windsheild posts is cracked and I can't tell if it's pot metal or aluminum? I'm missing the upper broken half of the otherside so I'll have to see about making it using the other as a reference. Does anybody reproduce them by chance? Thanks for any help.
TFoch:
Welcome to the site. Is it for a 29 Roadster? The ones for my 33 Cabriolet are pot metal and no one reproduces them. I'm not sure about a 29 though.

I can't help much with your windshield post but would still like to welcome you to the site.

I wish it was roadster but it's a 4dr sedan and thinking about making a 2dr sedan delivery out of it.
TFoch:
Sounds like a cool project. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
Check out "My Old 27 Chevy" in the Early Chevy/GM Discussion section. Ghost28 (John) made a Sedan Delivery out of a sedan.
