I had the original radiator but decided to go with a Walker Z-510-1.  I don't want to be sitting in line on a hot summer day waiting to get into a car show and having my car boil over.  It was a little pricey but this is one place on the car I thought is was worth it.  There are other brands that work well too.  I'll let the others chime in and give their opinion.

I'm not "using" anything yet but I plan on using an original honeycomb from a '28 truck. It''ll only be cooling a 175" four cylinder. If it doesn't work I'll come back to this thread.

I usually use the 32 ford aluminum short style from speedway or if you can find it on line cheaper. I have found it fits most shells pretty well.

Wizard Radiator out near Buffalo has done well for me. Since Griffin was sold their product has suffered in my opinion. They built a radiator for a '57 GMC I built and it was all wrong. I even sent the original where they are so different from a Chevy. They would do nothing. I had yo cut it up and weld it back together on my own. Sized has been great, just built a radiator for a 1933 Canopy Express I have been doing a lot of work on.

I agree a good radiator is a must. In my 27 I had a local shop make me a copper one because the grill shell is shorter.

On the 32 I ordered a aluminum eBay model for a 32 ford. I annealed the mounts on the bottom and bent them to fit the shell. It bolts together at the top.  It's not finished but looks like it will work great. And has a tranny cooler.

If money's no factor go with walker.

I used a Champion radiator that I bought new off of Ebay. I run a mechanical fan and no shroud and this summer never went above 180.
Never dealt with the company you mentioned but the have 100% feedback with over 700 transactions, must be worth something, huh?

we put a champion rad in a friends 37 truck last spring fit real good and ran cool. i am going to buy one for my 36 suburban next mo.

I needed to have a custom size made for my '35 - made a cardboard mock up just the way I wanted it, then took measurements and drew up a diagram and emailed it to these guys:

RH........If you have ran that radiator with your set up ,it appears to be a good radiator...Looks like I'll give this Company a try, may give Walker a run for the money, I will compare  all options that I want...to both manufactures...Thanks for  your Input...Ed

Yes - that radiator has been in my car for 3 years with no problems. The great thing was drawing it up with everything including mounts just the way I wanted it and have them build it perfectly. I had them paint it black and they even delayed shipping it an extra day because they weren't happy with the way the paint came out so re-did it cuz they wanted it perfect for me - and it really is.
