Merry Christmas
« on: December 25, 2015, 08:29:29 AM »
It's been a good year. Finished the 32 everyone stayed healthy and employed!

In October my sons bug for aviation flared up again, so one afternoon I told him sell the AMX and we could get a small plane, I headed to work and when I got there my phone started ringing. Never saw that 101% rust free sexy car again!

We did get a Piper Tomahawk (no jokes unless you have at least 10hrs pic time in one) like I had 25 years ago. He soloed and is working on his private license. Sister has the bug as well and is in ground school with some flights with me. What a blast!

When I finished the 32 and started driving it I enjoyed it but I realized I have to many cars and with the kids getting older I need to focus. Convertible is a must, 4 seats optional.

Trades for 67 or older corvette? 58-60 driver is what I would really like to have if I had just one old car.

Wishing everyone enough health, wealth, and time for your family and projects in the new year!

Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas! That's a beautiful 32 and will make someone a great ride!  I know what you mean about a convertible.  I love driving mine!  An early Corvette would be cool.  Keep us updated.

It hit 60° here in New Hampshire today.  Never thought I'd take the 33 out for a ride on Christmas day but couldn't resist.  We had family over for a late lunch around 1:00.  I took everyone out for a quick ride.  This time I made sure to get some pics Moose.  Took the two grandkids out for a ride.  My two year old grandson went for three and loved it.  He got the last ride before we put it in the garage.  Hope you all had a great Christmas like I did!

Thanks Ed, my grandson did not want to get out of the car.  He was so upset when his sister went for a ride.  I think I have a future car guy to spend some time in the garage with me ;D

It didn't quite make it to 30 today down to 10 tonight. Didn't get to ride in hot rods but the 4X4s got us around. Did a little new gun shooting and introduced my niece's husband to handguns from 9mm to John Linbaugh hot loads in my 45 black hawk. He was game for someone who had never fired a gun before. I think we converted a California liberal. ::) He wants to come back when it's warmer. We had a very nice Christmas. I hope you did. Happy Birthday Jesus! :)

It looks like you guys had some good moments. Tom I can't wait to strap my grandaughters in and go for a ride, they always want to sit in it and pretend to rod around and they are only 3 years old. We went to one of my daughters home and had all the family together. I am so glad they are all living close to us, when so many familys get distance between them as they get older. About noon the snow started falling straight down with big flakes it really put everyone in the mood.
I hope everyone has a great new year to compliment the season.

John

My son, daughter and their better halves gave me a Go Pro Hero 4 for Christmas.  Expect some cool videos of rides in the 33 next summer :D  That gives me all winter to figure it out.  Anyone else get a cool gift?

I got 500 rounds of 22 long  rifle ammo that I can shoot and not deplete the stash.  8) New slippers, warm PJs, and a Clive Custler book. I'm set. :)
Logride, Great 32! What year is the Piper? I don't know anything about the Tomahawk but my uncle told me the Piper Cub was the safest airplane ever built. I would barely go fast enough to kill you.  ::)

Sixball,

It's a 1979. They started building this model just as general aviation was crushed by lawyers.

With all of that ammo I be sure and keep a little altitude over your ranch!
