Thanks guys, never saw one before and the only chains we broke were bicycle chains and we used a drift to break them.
FATnLOW, I used an exhaust system kit from Summit (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-680101) Thy don't specify what kind of mufflers they are so I assume they are "zippo" brand ;D. But I can tell you the system was easy to install, I did have to trim the intermediate pipes a few inches. It has a nice heavy, throaty sound, but not too loud. Inside the car is not bad, but definitely much louder than stock. You can easily hold a conversation, its not annoying and I also used 2 1/2" pipes
Tighten it up til it strips, then back it off a quarter turn

Here's an FYI. Not sure if anyone has used this company, but I had a small issue with a place called FBODYWAREHOUSE.
I needed a fan shroud for my son's '76 Camaro. I did an internet search and they had the best deal ($128. free shipping) so I thought I would give them a shot. Three weeks later, no shroud. I looked up their address on Google maps expecting to see a storefront or a building in an industrial park. Nope, it looks like someone's house. I contacted them and they responded telling me they can't find the shroud and won't be getting any more.
To their credit they did refund my money. Like I said, just an FYI if you're thinking of using them.

Chopper headers/exhaust looks good.

Since i was a young guy, always bought headers. Fought them installing then trying to work around them once installed. Dad always ask if i was going to race this one. I said probably not, but i liked uncorking and running around. He said i was a glutten for punishment, waist of money and a pain in the butt to work around if i we not racing. I know he was right...but i had to, the Cool thing to do you know😁

Do you think we're crazy? Spending time and money making our cars harder to work on building power we seldom if ever really use?  :o

I covered the tomato plants yesterday. Got right down to freezing the little rain we got but didn't kill any plants. If they make it through tonight we're good for another week. Imagine picking tomatoes here at the end of October.

Started doing a top at work for a 95 camaro, theres another mustang after that.

Volunteered to do recoveries for a local off-road SxS race this Saturday at the sand dunes.
Should be fun.
Rear diff cover was leaking,  had to pull the cover and straighten it out along the edge. Dragged it across a rock somewhere.
Need to grab a yellow safety vest.  It's one of the requirements for this event.

That should be fun. My luck always seemed to dissapear when i volunter for stuff using my equipment, i usualy break something😁

My old machinist friend John talked about when he use to be the Jeep driver for his Colonel in Korea. He said the Jeep was checked out  by him, so he was responsible for it. The Colonel was a semi- professional photographer, one afternoon he took the Jeep out on his own to take some pictures along a rocky creek. Seems he hit a rock and ripped the front dif cover. He didn't know he had damaged it and returned it. The next morning John did his walk around and seen a small oil spot under the front. He looked under and spotted the damage, took it over to the motor pool for repair. Swore up and down that he never hit anything, but they said he would be responsible for repair cost. Angry words and hours later the Colonel fessed up to taking the Jeep out by himself. John had no idea he had been out in it.

Multi-tasking today.
Started off finishing a saddle bag repair for a motorcycle,  then getting started on a 60's dodge bench.  Then a appointment arrived,  another mustang top.  Within a hour I had it pulled out and on my table . 1.5 hrs later it's disassembled and ready for the new top.
Should be done by noon Friday and back to the bench seat.

Well,  it happened.  I came home the other day to find a dog at the top of the stairs. I was kinda upset at first cause I got used to a dog free house and the backyard was healing but I guess it'll grow on me.
Her name is Sugar.  She's a 6 month old bur-doddle (St Bernard/poddle mix)  puppy.

That cute face could grow on anyone!  She's a lucky pup!
Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Lol, glad to see you folks get another dog. Your too young not to have a dog in your lives. I fought that for 4 years after i lost Duke and got Rowdy. It's worth it when you get back in the groove😁

Sugar is cute! Hope fully she won't shed much, (Poodle side) and not drool like the St Bernard. It dosen't look like she will will grow to be huge, going by her 6 month size. She looks attentive and smarter than Rowdy already😁  My niece got a Goldendoodle a few years back, she never got taller than 14-15" at shoulder.

On to new adventures Rattiac, enjoy!

What a cutie! I hope she likes camping. The only way to fill the void of losing a dog is with another dog. They don't fill the whole void but they make it better.

When we lost Joe a few years ago we got Luna, named before we got her. She's Boxer & some kind of short haired bird dog. The breeds fight for control.  She's a kick and always interested in what I'm doing. She even tries to help.
