Post by: ghost28 on April 08, 2015, 07:36:00 PM
A friend has this 33 and asked if I knew anyone that might be interested. The body is solid with just surface rust, chevy van roof for filling, Most of the wood is good, It does run and drive, but from what he told me not so good in the handling department, probably some good old fashioned adjustments needed.
Glass fenders.
327 with a powerglide trans.  5 or 6 inch dropped axle?
He told me to start about 10,000.00
but he will entertain all offers, so tell everyone don't be shy.

P.M. Me about your  thoughts on the price?

Ghost, I paid $9,500. for my '32 coupe about 4 1/2 years ago. It was an old hot rod from the mid-late '60's. Although it looked more finished than your buddy's you could say it was about the same condition as mine had to be ripped down to the frame and built back up. You may remember my build on the HAMB, you were a big help to me. Anyway, I don't think the price is way out of hand although maybe the coupe is a little more desireable, so, maybe a little high. If it was in my area I would offer him $6,000 ::) (always looking for a good deal).
