I had the neck re-set on my '42 Martin 000-18 a few yeas ago. It plays so easy now. I've been trying to play often. I cab still play but net as well. I think mine is Dupuytren's Contracture. Need to see a doc.
That is a naive mower deck. Mine is a brush hog behind the tractor. It is a rock throwing window breaking son of a gun! Can't use it anywhere near the house of cars. Essex, nice flames. I did more simple ones on my '53 & saved them when I painted the truck. Primer to primer 3

Sorry to hear bout your arthritis. I had an old Rally mower on which I never got the belt to last. My son drove it around the yard and on the fields around the house. I put three twos on it and rattle can-flamed it for practice, planning to flame the Essex which ended up gettting scallops instead. The little guy is 32 today, pics snapped in 2005 4

I could no longer couple/uncouple air tools with out draining the pressure off the air compressor each tool change. I can now😄
Tore my deck down for rebuild 3 weeks ago Finally got deck repainted and all new parts imstalled. Still have to make a discharge chute hinge and ship up the deck wheel brackets to take the wobblys out. 5

he does anything with simple tools. Maybe you don't need a pro, there's always bondo. I used 36 lbs of bondo on my Essex, and it didn't even have fenders. It was my first project in the dream garage I had just built. I fail to see my own limitations, sometimes it goes well, sometimes, not so much. I had to get a small alternator, as the one I had meant to use wouldn't fit. This is a 40 Ampere one, meant for a Kubota. I had planned on using V-belts, but thought the better of it, I'll never get this build done, if I am going to alter everything, so instead I bought a new pulley, and a 15-17 mm bushing to make it fit the axle. Of course the pulley was too thick for the short axle, so I had to turn it down about three thirtyseconds on my uncle's lathe for the nut to have enough threads. It's never as easy as it looks. It took me all weekend to make a sturdy alternator mount, that gets the pulleys exactly in line with eachother. I admit to have been to town, shopping for a belt and having an ice cream too, so not actually all weekend. 7
