Hello from Alberta
« on: February 27, 2014, 10:45:09 AM »
Hello every one, names Bill and I live 50 miles north of Edmonton Alberta , Canada.  Found my way here thanks to TFoch , great to have a place just for us bowtie owners. I see that my "big bro"  Cocobolo beat me here already with his '35.  I happen to be lucky enough to have found myself a '36 chev 3 window coupe and my plans are to have myself a rod someday. My car is only 1 of 211 that was sold in Canada in 1936 and I have been having a hell of a time finding bits and pieces for it all this time. This is the summer I start my build and hopefully I wont be at it more than a year or two. I will post a few pics and if that  sparks some interest, I can post more. Looking forward to new things and new friends.

Bill,
Welcome to the site!  Plenty of interesting Chevy stuff on here for you to check out.  Nice 36, don't see too many 3 windows even down here in the USA.  Hopefully you'll post some pics as you make progress.  The guys on here like lots of pics.  Good to have you and your brother.  Feel free to spread the word to other Chevy guys you know.

Spending time with my grandkids gets in the way of finishing my car but I don't regret it!

Bill, Glad you are here. That is truly a nice 3 window. I hope you can get help here to find the rest of what you need. This is a welcoming group here with far less nit picking than other sites we sometimes visit. ;D

Welcome Bill!

Hopefully we can help you locate some parts, our membership is really taking off thanks to TFOCH.

I'm almost Canadian (French) since I live about 800 yards from the PQ border ;)

Welcome. You and your brother have found a great hangout. That 3 window will make a great build thread for the site. I really like where it is sitting, and the bullet holes. Do you have the doors?
