In 2008 another guy and I did a demo install of a Megasquirt and a GM TBI on my 270 GMC six at the Inliners International picnic at Bonneville. We had it running in less than an hour. There were a couple of problems that kept us from actually driving it but it ran great. I built the MS from a kit and the rest was junk yard parts. I was thinking of putting a turbo/injected 292 six in my '68 flat bed at the time. It was all there but I lost interest. Both the '53 pickup 270 and the '68 with it's present 350 are set up for the Megasquirt GM TBI. Each would take about a day to complete, 3 or 4 days with the turbo. Just no interest right now. These conversions are pretty simple, even more so now.
