hi everybody, my name is jeff and my son is drew. i joined this site for my son and i guess i can join in to. lets start off by saying we are both chevy diehards, i have a 1964 chevelle malibu ss, my dads 1971 elcamino ss, and my sofar 5 year project 55 chevy. my son drew had a 54 chevy for a few years and then started to try to trade it for something else, well he talked to a guy about a 1928 chevy roadster about 6-8 months ago but he said he would rather have the money. about a month ago the guy called back and said lets do the trade, it turns out that he really liked 54 chevys, so it was a match made in heaven. drew has the car already finished in his head, he's just like me, he knows what the ending project will look like. all we have to do is get over the hurtles. i guess my 55 will be put on hold for a bit until i get him started, but don't think this kid can't do anything. when i started out it was live and learn, i do my own fab, body, paint, buff and sometimes interior work. i learned it all buy watching tv, magazines, videos and just talking to people like you. the only way to learn is make mistakes and do it again. i'll keep updating the progress, he hopes for a year build course his car isn't as elaborate as i'm going. please check out my other topic of 1928 dimension, we could really use them. thanks, jeff and drew. p.s. i do not have a pic of my dads 71.

Hey Jeff, welcome to the home of old Chevies, from another Jeff.
I like the direction the 28 is going in.
What's Drew got planned?

keep the body rusty, 454 big block, he is using an old restaurant booth that we can modify, frame rusty, the suspension that is on it now is a ford set up, we want to change that to something else, still discussing that. keeping it a high boy. he's into the rat rod scene. jeff
