Title: 1967 chevy truck column in 31 chevy wiring question
Post by: yellowbeard on July 23, 2014, 10:30:03 PM
Hey guys, got my headlights wired up, also tail lights. Now the question is... I know to run my turn signal light wire from my fuse box to brake light switch. Then from the other connector on my brake light switch to the column. But I don't know which wire to run it to on the 67 truck column. Thanks Joe

If you've got the orange + up from fuse box to brk lamp sw already, then you should hook up an 18 ga white wire to go to the white wire on the (67 style column) turn signal wire connector (dark green wire should be next to it) on one end.

Mine is a newer van tilt (early 70's/no key on column). It has the wire as black w/white tracer, but still on the end next to the dark green one.

Just found wiring diagram. Google 67-72 chevytrucks.com, then go to 1970 chevy wire diagram.    Good luck, Sammons

Gm wiring us usually pretty consistent with its color coding. I believe that the white wire from the signal light switch is the one you need to connect to your brake light switch.
