Title: 1941 chevy special deluxe 2 door sedan drive line
Post by: e-rod on February 28, 2016, 03:52:13 PM
I have for sale basically the entire driveline engine, trans with vacuum shift, and torque tube rear end. The engine ran good but has 2 bad rods and the crank is damaged would need to be repaired. I was told by a machine shop they were pretty sure they could repair the crank. I also have all the brakes and wheels and tires. I also believe I have the fuel tank and radiator as well. I have a fresh rebuilt starter and some new engine gaskets. I may have some other parts too but would have to look around. My name is Eric feel free to give me a call at 518 469 4228 and make an offer I'm not trying to get rich off this stuff just trying to get it to someone who can use it rather than send it to the scrap yard.

With all the stuff you took from the 41 sedan it sounds like you have blank canvas to work with. I did a chop on a 41 sedan and it turned out really nice the way I did the back window it layed down like a fleetline sedan. They are cool, and welcome to the bowtie.

Everyone wanted to see what I did to my car so here it is! I swapped in an 04 silverado 5.3 and 4l60e trans and 94 s10 rear diff. Also did a front poewr disc conversion and power rack and pinion. I left the car as stock looking as possible even has stock front and rear suspension

Nice setup..those old Chevy's have plenty of room for those tall LS truck intakes.  I just bought a 2002 2WD truck with 6.0/4L80e for a driveline swap.

Make your own harness and pcm flashing?

I have a guy in berne ny that does harrness rewiring and I have hp tuners so I flashed my own pcm. I have also swapped a 5.3 and a 5 speed into a 64 bel air wagon and helped a buddy do a 5.3/4l60e swap in a 52 ford f100. Right now I am building an 87 monte carlo ss  with an aluminum  l33 5.3 and a 4l80e the car has all aftermarket suspension should be a real corner carver. I love the ls power only way to go
