While leaving the neighborhood I saw a dodge truck missing a LR wheel. Sitting in the center turn lane.
I thought if he's still there when I get home ill help out. Sure enough, still there. So I grabbed my jack and a HF wheel dolly .
Nobody was slowing down as they passed until I arrived and turned on my strobes, then traffic slowed.
Got it jacked up and threw the wheel dolly under the drum. His dad arrived and with hazzards on we blocked the 2 lanes with our vehicles till the truck could pull off into the neighborhood .
With only 3 good studs/lugnuts and his spare tire on. Filled it with air also.
We had him on his way back home. Well slowly.
Cant believe some of the comments from rude drivers passing by, jeez just tryin to help a guy out.

Good job Rattiac! We've all been in a situation like that at one time or another. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of drivers out there that think they are more important that the poor guy who is stuck.......until they themselves get stuck.

Rattiac, You are a good man! I hope someone like you shows up when I need help. Rudeness is the norm now because good people fear the next step which is rage. Feel good about yourself for being kind of person you are.

The rude people will wish they had someone to help them some day

Thanks for the kind words.
I do what I can, when I can. Sometimes it depends on the person(s). Luckily it was a couple late teens kids in need of a hand.
Gotta stay away from them "meth-head" bums looking to take advantage.
Ususally have a sidearm and keep a camera rolling just incase. If I have a weird feeling about it, ill keep driving on.
